   This lodge (formerly Ole Creek Lodge) is famous for two species - they catch the largest native rainbow trout in the world and they have the largest sockeye salmon run in the world.

   This is one of a very few spots in Alaska where that 20-pound rainbow is possible. September is when the big bows come down from Lake Iliamna, Alaska’s largest lake, to feed on the eggs and flesh from the world’s largest sockeye run. The Kvichak sockeye run is the largest salmon run of any kind in the world.

   Take a break and fish a four-weight for Arctic grayling, approaching 20-inches with dry flies. We’ll fish many braided areas that give you the feel of a small stream.

   Knowledgeable guides welcome all levels of experience. Heavy-duty aluminum boats with Honda motors. Most packages are two anglers per boat and guide, nice long fishing days. Good homestyle meals.
