Fish several different locations
Considered the best fighting freshwater fish on the planet, the dorado is aggressive, with a ferocious strike, long hard runs, high jumps and fighting stamina. The locals call them 'River Tigers.' Fish several different locations: The Parana tributaries, the Esteros Ibera' and the Rio Corrientes.
You should average about 20 strikes per day, and land about 10. Catch and release. Fishing season runs from October to April with peak fishing March, October and November. Two anglers per guide. Aluminum riverboats with 40 hp Yamaha motors.
Stay in air-conditioned, modern cottages with two beds, shower/bath and nice furnishings. The lodge is spacious and comfortable. Delicious family style meals feature beef, lamb, homemade breads and garden fresh vegetables. For non-fishing guests, a boat and guide is included for wildlife viewing.
