Fish for bonefish, permit and tarpon on Turneffe's
premier flats.
Bars and flats inside Turneffe's lagoons are best fished from lodge's 16'
custom built Dolphin Super skiffs. One of the few spots in the world that offer a
legitimate shot at a Grand Slam. Ocean side flats are only 5 to 15-minutes
from the lodge.
There is also a wadeable flat in front of the lodge. Fishing
is catch and release only.
World class snorkeling. Turneffe Atoll is the largest
coral atoll in the Western Hemisphere. Enjoy Belizean and American dishes in
the colonial style air-conditioned lodge.
Air conditioned guest rooms with private baths are
located on the beach with a view of coral reef.

Grand
Slam Flats Fishing
It's a short, easy run to the flats from the lodge.
Sight fishing the flats is their specialty with variety... bonefish, tarpon,
permit and snook. 75% of their clients fly fish in pursuit of the Grand
Slam.
Fish the flats, cayes, reef, mangrove channels, Belize,
Sibun and Manatee Rivers, several creeks and lagoons in between are areas
fished from the lodge.
Fish from 23' fiberglass panga skiffs, usually two anglers to a skiff
plus guide. Local English speaking guides know the waters
and are friendly, patient and hard working.
Lodge is situated on the lush green banks of the Old
Belize River, about ten minutes from international airport. The comfortable,
well kept, mahogany lodge is air conditioned. Lodge is surrounded by tropical greenery and colorful
flowers. Fine Belizean-Creole-American cuisine.

River Lodge Liveaboard

boat. At end of the day, retire to your luxurious floating, air-conditioned
yacht. This is the most successful and comfortable way to fish
the flats, mangrove channels, rivers, coral reefs and cayes of Belize for
permit, bonefish, tarpon, snook, barracuda, jack, snapper and more. Guided
fishing from 23' skiffs with no long runs as your mothership is close by.
Excellent meals are prepared by
an onboard chef. This is the ultimate fishing vacation. Fish as much as you
like from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Great snorkeling is usually close.
