Chile ▪ Browns ▪ Rainbows ▪ King Salmon
Patagonia Lodge
World Class Fly-fishing ▪ November 1 to May 7
Fish the Rio Simpson, the most famous river in the Aysen region. Browns and rainbows in the 14 to 22-inch range are common. Trout up to 30-inches have been landed on a fly. Early January through mid-March, king salmon pushing 45-pounds run the river.
The Rio Paloma, a glacial, freestone stream with iridescent blue water provides fantastic dry fly and streamer action for both browns and rainbows. Also fish the Rio Azul, one of the most beautiful fishing locations in the world. Browns from 17 to 21-inches are quite common. Many more rivers are available. Very experienced and bilingual guides.
The luxurious lodge is located right on the banks of the Simpson River. Enjoy gorgeous views of the river with the Andes peaks as a backdrop. Finish a great day of drift fishing right at the lodge. Gourmet Chilean food.
