Costa Rica Casa Mar Lodge
Casa Mar Tarpon
Tarpon hauled into boat

Costa Rica ▪ Casa Mar Lodge

Tarpon ▪ Wahoo ▪ Tuna ▪ Jungle Species

Remote lodge. Great tarpon fishing.

Fish for tarpon, wahoo, tuna, and in the jungle, smaller species - snook, machaca and mojara. You are guided, two anglers per boat on the Caribbean or the Rio Colorado River. 17-foot flat bottom boats are used for fishing the jungle lagoons and 24-foot 'V' deep hull boats with 115 horsepower motors are used for fishing in the saltwater.

Larry and his wife, Ethel, are impressed with their location. It’s the only lodge on Costa Rica’s Caribbean where you see no other homes or buildings, just jungle.

The lodge has seven acres of flowers and coconut trees. Private, comfortable cottages. The staff and meals are a delight. April is usually the driest month with good water conditions.

Casa Mar Lodge is now in its 42nd year of operation. Shorter stays are available at similar savings. Other dates are available at the special price if booking party of four or more.

Includes:  Airport reception, all internal transfers, first night stay at the classy Herradura Hotel, double occupancy accommodations, meals, roundtrip flights San Jose, Costa Rica to Lodge, daily laundry service, open bar, guided fishing with two anglers per boat and all fishing outfits, including fly outfits.
