Chochoy Mallin Lodge - Heli-Fishing

Brown, Rainbow, and Brook Trout

Fly cast to the strongest, feistiest trout in Patagonia. Daily helicopter hops get anglers into otherwise untouched spring creeks, pocket water streams, larger rivers, or fish from boats on stunning mountain lagoons. Watch the sunset behind the Andes Mountains from SET's newest lodge. The Lodge is on a working cattle ranch and hosts up to eight anglers. Base camps on remote private ranches allow you to explore a variety of environments during the week.
2022:  7-nights and 6-days guided fishing $7,760.00 per person based on two anglers per guide and room.

Sample Itinerary - Heli-Fishing

You'll leave the Lodge between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. with a six to 20-minute flyout on a modern Bell 407 with expert pilots. Departing times vary based on fishing areas. You'll enjoy a sack lunch while fishing. After a full day on the field, you'll return to the Lodge between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Enjoy cocktails at the bar, followed by a delicious dinner. Plan for an overnight at one of their camps, where you'll taste another level of service. Nights at Camp are usually the highlight of the trip.

Casa de Campo

Casa de Campo Lodge (The Home Camp) is two hours north of Junin de Los Andes. The Camp has excellent access to fishing numerous spring creeks, the Alumine and Quillen Rivers, and several mountain lakes. These waters, especially the spring creeks, provide great sightfishing opportunities for trophy brook, brown, and rainbow trout.
Your hosts, Marisa and Daniel, create delightful homemade Argentine meals that are enjoyed in the Clubhouse. The rustic-style lodge has a quiet setting, four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, hosting up to eight guests. Wi-Fi connection is available.

Deluxe River Camps

Float trips focus on the five main rivers of northern Patagonia: Alumine, Caleufu, Chimehuin, Collon Cura, and Limay. Many stretches of these rivers are remote and/or have extremely limited access.
SET's camp programs allow you to experience these otherwise inaccessible waters. You'll be pampered at camp by their dedicated camp staff. Their cooks have mastered the art of cooking over an open fire. Unique Argentine asados, roasted lamb prepared gaucho-style, and much more. One angler per tent with cot, sleeping pad, warm sleeping bags, and night table. Delicious camp meals and an open bar with a basic supply of fine drinks.
